We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join 5W’s Consumer Lifestyle practice. The ideal candidate has worked with lifestyle-based clients within an agency setting, is an expert at pitching, and possesses strong account and time management skills. Responsibilities Manage team workflow and take ownership of account work while driving consistent media results. Create and develop media materials – press kits, press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, bios, case studies, etc. Develop and maintain relationships with prominent members of the media to ensure placements. Develop strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines aligned with the overall PR strategy. Execute and advise on PR strategies and collaboratively develop strategic media plans. Create and develop proactive pitch ideas for clients based on industry, current trends and announcements. Monitor media and seek speaking opportunities for clients as “experts in their field.” Maintain daily client interaction to update, report on, and discuss strategy and results. Assist in the research, writing and development of new business proposals and presentations. Provide guidance and leadership to junior-level staff. Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic and creative thinking for clients. Qualifications S/B.A. in Public Relations or related field 2–3 years of PR agency experience, specifically with Consumer-based clients Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Strong leadership and motivation skills Proven client relations and supervisory skills Creative and energetic personality Note: This role is based in our New York, NY office on a hybrid basis.
