Job Description

Our client, healthcare services provider is seeking a Dietary Aide to join their team. As a Dietary Aide, you will be part of the dietary support team supporting meal preparation and resident care. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a caring attitude, and the ability to work efficiently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Dietary Aide

Location: Marquette, MI

Pay: $16.00 per Hour

Shift: Open availability is preferred. Shifts are 6AM-2:30PM or 11:45AM-8:15PM. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

What's the Job?

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals following prescribed menus and residents’ dietary needs.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work areas, and dining rooms.
• Prepare and distribute snacks and nourishments to nursing service.
• Stock supplies, put away deliveries, and maintain inventory.
• Respond to residents’ requests and ensure tray preparation honors preferences when possible.

What's Needed?

• Temp to possible hire, full time.
• Ability to obtain a ServSafe certification within a reasonable timeframe on the job.
• Completion of background check, rapid drug screen, TB test, and training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in hot/damp environments.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays; open availability preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to speak, read, and write English.
