Electrician. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting chemical storage building.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities \n - To accurately read and study blueprints, drawings, specifications and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of installations and/or repairs to ensure quality.
\n - Use hand tools required to perform the job but not limited to; hammers, drills, saws, screw guns, metal shears, utility knives, framing square and edging tools.
\n - Install, repair, maintain motors, lights, circuits, wiring and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards and regulations.
\n - Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions.
\n - Must be willing to participate in cross functional teams for Continuous Improvement.
\n - Measure, cut and bends wire and conduit using ruler and hand tools.
\n - Drills holes for wiring and pulls or pushes wiring through openings.
\n - Complete inspections and conduct repairs if needed.
\n - Work on ladders or heights of building structure using proper fall equipment is necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required \n - Have a great attitude and willing to grow with the company
\n - Diligently follow safe work practices for yourself and team members at all times
\n - 3-5 years knowledge of electrical application for high and low voltage electric system.
\n - Knowledge of electrical codes, standards and regulations.
\n - Prefer experience with explosion proof components.
\n - Must be able to work in a flexible team environment with job rotation as needed
\n - Must be able to work overtime as needed
\n - Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
\n - Knowledge of measurements using a tape measure

Working Conditions \n - Able to lift and carry 50 lbs to waist and over head
\n - Ability to use ladders at least 10 feet off the ground.
\n - Ability to bend, twist, squat, stand and walk up to 10 hours per day.
\n - Wear all required PPE including: steel toed shoes, hearing protection and safety glasses.
\n - Good physical condition and endurance.
\n - Ability to work in high heat conditions
