The Facility Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our care team at the Pediatric Day Health Center (PDHC) in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This full-time position (36+ hours per week) offers a rewarding opportunity to use your nursing skills in a fun, family-focused pediatric environment .
As a Facility RN, you’ll provide high-quality care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing services while supervising LPNs and other staff. If you’re passionate about pediatric care and looking for a role that’s both meaningful and fulfilling, we’d love to meet you!
Monitor and document each child’s status through ongoing observation and assessment .
Identify patient care priorities and ensure delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care .
Implement physician’s orders and communicate any changes in patient condition promptly.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all nursing care provided.
Support and mentor LPNs and ancillary staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Partner with families and the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child.
Active PA RN License (required).
Current Healthcare Provider CPR Certification (can be obtained during orientation).
Additional compensation may be offered for experience with ventilators and tracheostomies.
