Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, seeks a dynamic and collaborative Adult Psychiatrist to join our Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) team. The psychiatrist will be critical in expanding access to mental health services across primary care and specialty settings through close collaboration with medical providers, behavioral health clinicians, psychiatric APRNs, care coordinators through direct patient care, care coordination, consultative support for primary care teams, and relationship building with community mental health resources. The position will also provide opportunities to contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives. 

IBH psychiatrist would provide the following:

1. Psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning for adult patients, utilizing a consultation-liaison model to support primary care providers (PCPs) and IBH teams by conducting systematic case and population reviews, providing synchronous and asynchronous treatment recommendations, and supporting decision-making.
2. Build strong community partnerships to ensure patient transition to community behavioral health resources.
3. Represent the IBH program in community outreach efforts and educational events.
4. Contribute to strategically developing and/or scaling integrated psychiatric services across additional primary and specialty care sites.
5. Engage in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, or program evaluation projects that advance integrated psychiatric care.
