About the Role:

Van-Des Talent Solutions is hiring a Junior Project Manager for a well-regarded general contractor in the Greater DFW area. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated early-career professional to gain hands-on project experience, work closely with senior leaders, and grow within a high-performing construction team delivering complex commercial and multi-family developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day project coordination and provide support throughout the full construction life cycle-from preconstruction through closeout.
• Help implement and maintain the project safety plan, demonstrating a commitment to site safety protocols and procedures.
• Support tracking of project performance, including cost forecasts, schedules, and subcontractor deliverables.
• Participate in subcontractor coordination, progress meetings, and field inspections.
• Help manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure construction aligns with design intent, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders to address project needs and potential challenges.
• Participate in project closeout tasks such as punch list tracking and turnover package assembly.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or associate's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent field experience).
• 4+ years of progressive experience in construction project coordination or site support, preferably in commercial or multi-family projects.
• Basic understanding of construction methods, safety practices, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, MS Project, or equivalent platforms is preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
