Location - Brattleboro, Vermont
Under the guidance of the Director of Radiology and the Medical Director, the MRI Technologist is responsible for carrying out various technical tasks related to Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This job requires the technologist to work independently and perform MRI procedures with limited supervision. It is important for the technologist to make their own decisions and have a clear understanding of MRI safety.
**Requirements:**
- Graduate from a recognized Radiologic Technology school (approved by the AMA) - Required.
- Previous experience working with MRI in a hospital - Required.
- Must have ARRT certification - Required.
- Must have MRI certification - Required.
- CPR certification - Required.
- Venipuncture certification (taking blood samples) - Required (can be obtained within 3 months of starting the job).
- At least 2 recent references from supervisors - Required.
**Certification Requirements:**
- ARRT Certification.
