What You’ll Do

• Own Our Snowflake Platform: Lead the administration and performance optimization of our Snowflake data warehouse—ensuring stability, scalability, and security.
• Design with Intentionality: Collaborate across teams to create efficient data models, ETL processes, and integrations that align with ministry objectives.
• Engineer with Purpose: Build and maintain streams, tasks, stored procedures, and dynamic tables—delivering reliable and accessible data architecture.
• Lead Data Migrations: Oversee projects that move data into Snowflake, ensuring accuracy, performance, and minimal disruption.
• Champion Best Practices: Monitor cost and performance, implement governance standards, and apply emerging Snowflake features to stay future-ready.
• Empower the Team: Train and mentor teammates, fostering technical growth and collaborative problem-solving.
• Document Thoroughly: Maintain system configurations, procedures, and policies to ensure long-term efficiency and compliance.

What You Bring

• Technical Expertise: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience), with 4+ years as a lead in Snowflake Data Engineering in large-scale environments.
• Advanced Snowflake Skills: Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, Snowflake performance tuning, security, and data modeling. SnowPro Certifications are a plus.
• Cloud & Integration Know-How: Experience with Azure Blob Storage, Salesforce CRM/Marketing Cloud, and compliance frameworks like CCPA and GDPR.
• Strategic Thinker: You can translate business needs into scalable, sustainable data solutions that support both operational excellence and ministry vision.
• Team-Oriented Communicator: You build bridges across departments and communicate complex data systems with clarity and purpose.
• Faith-Rooted Living: You demonstrate consistent Bible engagement, spiritual maturity, and a Christ-centered lifestyle that reflects the mission of Our Daily Bread Ministries.
