Requisition ID:75489 Description Skyworks is seeking a full time Senior Test Engineer for our Austin, TX based Power/Isolation team! As a member of the team, you will participate in coming up with test plans, designing ATE and qualification boards. You will develop test codes for Mixed Signal ATE characterization, qualification, and production test solutions for Power/Isolation products. Test implementation will include probe and package-level responsibilities during device development and mass production. The position requires a strong background in hardware and software development on ATE platforms. Experience in performing bench level measurements, correlation, and debug is also required. Once in mass production, the position requires manufacturing improvement efforts to achieve test time reduction, test quality improvements, yield enhancement, etc. Responsibilities Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Required Experience and Skills - BSEE and 5+ years’ or MS and 3+ years' experience with Mixed Signal ATE Test development.

  • Experience in Automotive and ASIL products is preferred.
  • Excellent organization skills as well as strong verbal and written communication.
  • Semiconductor industry/manufacturing environment experience required.
  • Familiarity with C/C++ programming required.
  • Familiarity with a schematic capture tool such as OrCad, Altium is desired.
  • Familiarity with Teradyne J750, IFLEX, Advantest V93000, Chroma 3650/80 is preferred.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$89,100 -$172,100 per year . Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
