The Boeing Precision Engagement Systems Team is currently looking for a Test and Integration Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join the team based in St. Charles, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

The team is directly responsible for System Integration support and leadership from design through test and fielding. This position includes the need to support all aspects of hardware/software integration of weapons to platforms including:

  • Development of functional-level and detail-level hardware/software requirements in conjunction with missile/platform integrated product teams

  • Test event planning and execution for system integration lab and flight testing, with a focus on formal procedure/plan documentation

  • Develop and support Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for various platforms, verification test plans for lab and flight integration and other critical documentation required to develop a robust and complete integration program

  • Perform engineering investigations with regards to aircraft integration issues as required

  • Collaborate across widely varied engineering and programmatic teams throughout the industry to develop, foster and apply critical systems-level technical oversight, guidance and support for all products in the field

  • Tracks integration program budget and schedule to ensure success

  • Development of functional-level and detail-level hardware/software requirements, electrical/mechanical/software design for bench test equipment and other test assets, procedure development and execution for system integration lab testing

  • Integrate Boeing weapon systems to air launch platforms, develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs), software test plans, and perform engineering investigations with regards to aircraft integration issues

  • Perform post-test data analysis on weapon interface performance and generate performance reports

  • Ensure that the weapons meet their installed performance requirements on air-launch platforms

  • Ensure new weapon upgrades/features and software block updates successfully integrate with Aircraft Platforms through lab testing, on-aircraft ground testing, and flight testing events and post-test analysis

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science)

  • 2+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

  • Experience working in a test environment, lab and or flight test

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time as required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

  • Experience in the defense industry, preferably with avionics/weapons integration, design, or test is a plus

  • Prior avionics hardware/software integration experience, knowledge of MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, and/or integration lab experience are a plus

  • Experience testing and trouble shooting software

Summary pay range for Associate: $88,400 - $119,600

Summary pay range for Experienced: $107,100 - $144,900
