Job Details

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultra Sound or Special Procedures according to department protocols.
• Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/ QC activities.
• Assists in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program.
• Oversees radiology area and/or staff in Manager’s / Director’s absence.
• Maintains department supplies.
• Promotes teamwork and good customer service.
• Does scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintains supplies and equipment for assigned sub department.
• Responsible for Processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Job Requirements

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Appropriate national certifications in two modalities required (effective July 1, 2017).
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
• Proficient computer skills.

Schedule Information

• Contract length is 13 weeks.

• Prime Fingerprint required for onboarding.
• COVID-19 Vaccine: 2 vaccines and booster required or declination completed.
• MMR: Proof of 2 Vaccines or Positive Titer showing immunity.
• Annual Respirator Fit Test required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination required; declinations not accepted at Shasta Regional Medical Center.
• Influenza Vaccine or declination required November 1, 2025 - March 31, 2026; declinations not accepted at Shasta or Pampa Regional Medical Center.
• TB Test within one year of start date.
• Driver's License, State ID, or Passport required.
• Varicella vaccination/titer showing immunity required.
• Tdap vaccination required; declinations not accepted at Rhode Island Hospitals and Shasta Regional Medical Center.
• Physical/Health Statement annually required; must state clear to work.
• Prime OIG check required.
• Prime Core Competencies Exam with minimum 80% score required.
• Prime Skills Checklist required.
• Prime Color-blind test annually required.
• National Criminal Background Check within one year of start date with some state-specific exceptions.
• Prime Agency Attestation required after all credentials uploaded.
• Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion search required.
• Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification) required.
• Prime Specialty Exam with minimum 80% score required.
• Prime Job Description signed by employee required.
• Prime Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel test) within 60 days of start required.
• Prime Resume required at time of offer acceptance.
• Two references required, one from a manager or direct supervisor.
• Name Verification Affidavit required for any name discrepancies between credentials.
