Seven Healthcare is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery for an assignment in Reston, VA. This Labor and Delivery RN travel position offers three 12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours) with a weekly pay rate of $2,150.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

• Provide care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, labor progression, and patient status.
• Assist with deliveries, including high-risk and emergency situations.
• Administer medications, perform clinical interventions, and provide pain management.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with L&D unit and facility standards.
• Promote patient safety and deliver evidence-based maternal and neonatal care.

Requirements for the Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Role

• Active Virginia RN license or eligibility.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
