Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and at least 18 months of MS/Tele experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00pm to 7:30am
• Every other holiday is required as part of the schedule
• Assessments for ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate are completed during orientation, with only two attempts allowed
• Permanent and per diem candidates may not return for one year after their most recent assignment end date
• Locals are accepted at the same bill rate
• Badging and onsite fingerprinting are required before the start date
• Annual and pre-start modules must be completed online prior to start
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine testing requirements

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active OH or compact RN license at time of consideration
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be current
• Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry prior to travel
• One supervisory reference in specialty is required for consideration
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• No open background check cases or license hits accepted
