Welcome to The Community Saved Project.

What began more than 27 years ago through a karate school founded by my father has grown into a broader commitment to youth, families, and community. Today, that legacy continues through martial arts, basketball, AAU athletics, mentorship, leadership development, health and wellness, and plans for expanded after-school and summer programming.

Our goal is to create opportunities that help young people grow, stay active, build confidence, and develop into strong leaders. We are also working to expand partnerships that support healthier families and stronger communities across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We Don’t Just Build Players.

We Build People. Create. Serve. Progress.

Discipline on the mat

Respect for peers

Physical vitality

Service to neighbors

Building inclusive spaces where young people learn accountability, empathy, and mutual support.

Advancing health literacy, cardiovascular fitness, and preventive wellness across coastal families.

Translating personal growth into community action through civic engagement and youth leadership.

Fostering focus, self-control, and perseverance through structured martial arts and athletic training.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
