Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Pega Developer. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress.
Responsibilities Work with senior members of the team and users to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements in to customized solutions using the Pega 8 platform.
Implement Pega solutions that adhere to platform best practices.
Assist the Lead Pega Developer with development work streams, from design through testing and deployment.
Responsible for coding and unit testing using Pega OOTB features based on the design provided by the Lead Pega Developer.
Maintain effective client relations and rapport - delivering timely and relevant information with the ability to quickly identify and report project risks.
Post-delivery - assists client teams in supporting the live application and perform handoff and knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long term success.
Write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention.
Write tests for existing and created code to ensure compatibility and stability.
Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum 1+ years of experience delivering solutions with Pega platform.
Possess one of the following certifications: CSA (Certified System Architect), CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect).
Pega 24 experience.
Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience.
Specialization in a functional area (CRM, deployment, etc.) or industry domain expertise.
Must be able to work independently, with little to no oversight.
Must have and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Must be able to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
