\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work rotating day and night shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with 3x12 hour schedule
\n• Patient ratio of 1:6 across all shifts
\n• Weekend requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule, every other weekend
\n• Holiday requirement: Every other holiday as needed
\n• Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
\n• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
\n• Flu vaccine required - no exemptions
\n• Scrub color: Ceil blue (not provided by facility)
\n• Charting system: Cerner experience required
\n• Previous charge experience preferred
\n• Skills required: Cerner, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring, Emergency response, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, 12-Lead EKG, Ventilator Management
\n• Care for adults and geriatric patients with cardiac, vascular, general medical, surgical, wound care, GI/GU, neurological, respiratory, and renal failure diagnoses
\n• Manage patients requiring ventilator management, continuous BiPaP, continuous cardiac monitoring, and pre/post cardiac interventions
\n• First-time travelers accepted

\nThis healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing specialized care for complex medical needs. The Adult Medical-Surgical/Sub-Specialty Telemetry Unit is a 68-bed combined unit that offers advanced cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, and continuous BiPaP services. The facility maintains a 14-room, 30-bed unit with a daily census of 30 patients and provides extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams.
